If you didn’t know how to do that, see our guide on how to install extensions in VSCode. In order to install LaTeX-Workshop, open up VSCode and go to the Extension tab to search for it. LaTeX-Workshop is the only extension you need for LaTeX typesetting with VSCode. Please note that the installation downloads a hefty amount of data from the internet, so it takes from 20 minutes to 3 hours to complete.
